Top of the league
Strategic Corporate Finance has completed seven transactions during the 12 months to 30 April 2011, which according to Corpfin is more than any other corporate finance advisory firm in the Sheffield City region.
In the last six months of this period, the dealmakers, who specialise in acquisitions, disposals and management buyouts across wide-ranging sectors, have acted on a management buyout and four disposals – two of which were international disposals.
According to a Corpfin search carried out on 20 June 2011, the top four corporate finance advisory firms in the region were: Strategic Corporate Finance (7 deals); BHP Corporate Finance (5 deals) and then Castle Square Corporate Finance and Hawsons Corporate Finance (both with 2 deals).
