Andrew is the Managing Director of Strategic Corporate Finance.

He established Strategic Corporate Finance in June 2000 and since then the firm has worked on over 250 transactions.

Andrew is a recent winner of Insiders’ South Yorkshire “Dealmaker of the Year” award.

He has over 20 years experience of carrying out acquisitions, disposals and management buy-outs / buy-ins. Andrew’s experience is across a wide variety of industries and deal sizes. He ensures that the firm always provides a “hands on” partner led service.

In respect of management buy-outs / buy-ins, Andrew says “It is best to involve us at the earliest possible opportunity. That way we can negotiate a commercially sound deal and one that can be funded.”

“Our services include negotiating the deal, raising the finance and most importantly project managing the transaction from start to finish.“

Another service that Strategic Corporate Finance has a reputation for delivering excellent results is finding buyers for companies, negotiating outline terms and project managing the transaction through to legal completion.

Andrew says “We act for many vendors each year in finding purchasers for their companies, through extensive and highly targeted research, and then negotiating the sale and project managing the disposal through to a successful completion”.

Greg joined Strategic Corporate Finance in 2006 from Deloitte in Nottingham.

Greg has worked on many transactions including management buy-outs, corporate acquisitions and company disposals. He has also undertaken due diligence work for clients as part of their acquisition process.

Asked about the services Strategic Corporate Finance provides to clients selling their businesses, Greg said “Selling your company is likely to be the most important transaction of your life, so it is vital to have experienced advisors on your side that fully understand all stages of the process. Greg is also heavily involved in searching for acquisition targets for companies. “We methodically search for suitable targets using a variety of methods, including databases and our extensive network of contacts. This pro-active approach delivers results which would not be obtained by relying on listings of companies being marketed for sale”.

Victoria’s interest in Corporate Finance emerged whilst studying towards her MSc Finance at the University of Leicester where her thesis specialised in Private Equity and the Role of Venture Capital in the UK and Europe.

After university, Victoria joined the Corporate Finance team at Cooper Parry working across all three of their offices in the East Midlands originating transactions, undertaking market research across a broad range of sectors and studying towards the ACA qualification.

Since joining Strategic in 2007, Victoria has established herself as a lead deal advisor and qualified as an ACA. Having worked on a number of corporate acquisitions, disposals and MBO’s, Victoria plays an active role in both advising clients and originating deal opportunities for Strategic.

Victoria is the current holder of Insiders’ South Yorkshire “Young Dealmaker of the Year” award.
