Small private equity firm seeks to acquire majority shareholdings in industrial/manufacturing companies with existing management teams. Valuation range £2m to £7m.
The acquiror would add value by supporting the management team through their expertise and international contact base across industries.
Key criteria:
Valuation - estimated valuation range of £2m - £7m
Sector - industrial manufacturing/technology
Products - high engineering content
End markets - markets with well funded customers; Oil & Gas, Power Generation, General Industrial, Petrochemical, Test & Measurement
Geographies - primarily UK [also and Germany & Nordics]
Other considerations:
Some barriers to entry
Repeatable product sales (i.e. not bespoke products designed in response to customer requests)
Preferably with some aftermarket content to business (spares/services)
